The backbone of our IO series—this tiny breakout board gives you easy and configurable access to the pins of an etherCON or RJ45 connector.
Arranged as four separate channels with a shared ground connection following our AES72 pinout, but it can be customized to match any other industry pinout.
Soldered by hand in the USA with genuine Neutrik connectors, this little guy fits into a standard D-series punchout for easy installation in a rack or your own enclosure.

Each screw terminal supports 18-30AWG stranded or solid wire.
A phillips #0 (PH0) screwdriver is recommended.
Yes! It's a great way to passively split the signal. Just make sure the combined AWG of all the wires in one terminal is within 18-30AWG. You can get this value by calculating the physical cross-sectional area of the combined copper, and looking up the AWG for that diameter.
Each pin is rated for ≤ 57V and 1.5A.
This can be installed in the front or rear of a panel up to 4mm thick.
The sticker is used to cover up the etherCON pins and prevent possible shorts with the wires coming out of the screw terminals. Best to leave it where it is.
To remove the ground connection from the panel, you can cut off the small plate that sits behind the etherCON connector. To completely lift the ground pins from all the terminals, cut the tab back a little further so it's no longer connected to the PCB (this is permanent, obviously).
Phantom power is supported if you use a shielded CAT cable.
