Made with lead-free solder

Phantom power is fully supported if you use a shielded CAT cable. Using an unshielded CAT cable or lifting the ground connection will disable it.

It's as easy as using either the solder cup or screw terminal variants, and putting multiple wires into one terminal. Just make sure the combined AWG of all the wires is within AWG limit of that variant (see the FAQ below). You can get the combined AWG by calculating the physical cross-sectional area of the combined copper, and looking up the AWG for that diameter.

No. Unlike digital audio protocols such as Dante, the IO series uses purely analog signals for passing data from point A to point B. Since there is no analog-to-digital conversion happening, the signal will get lost if it goes through a switch or router.

Yes! It's a great way to pass signals from one room to another without running any new wires. As long as it never passes through a switch or router, you're good.

The solder cups support 22AWG and smaller stranded wire. The screw terminals support 18-30AWG stranded or solid wire. The crimp terminals use JST PH connectors, which require 24-32AWG stranded wire. All terminal types are compatible with our Patch Cables.

A phillips #0 (PH0) screwdriver is recommended.

This can be installed in the front or rear of a panel or enclosure up to 4mm thick.

The sticker is used to cover up the etherCON pins and prevent any possible shorts with the nearby wires. Best to leave it where it is.
